Archer Towers on Clash of Clans game can range with both ground and Air Unit at beautiful distances. Therefore, it is generally a good idea to place them on the perimeter outside the village. Doing so enables players to take advantage of excellent and provide good for protection.

At level 8, Archer Tower receives metal braces at the bottom of each leg.

At level 9, the Archer Tower flag gets shorter to reveal the interior again and the metal on each leg turns into a nail.

At level 10, the flag gets even bigger, the gold plate gets placed around the entire tower and supports the wood becomes darker.

At level 11, the color scheme completely changed because all the wood was replaced with dark iron, and the castle received a dark iron shield on each corner with a stone skull between them. Flag changes from green to orange.

At level 12, the tower gains a gold guard's shield at the bottom and a golden spike on it with a silver angle at the top. flags are replaced with nails and fortified walls into highly polished metals. Archers shoot with fire arrows. The boards where Archers stand also shift direction.

At level 13, the 3 gold guard shields fuse together into 2, becoming thicker and plating the silver on top into gold instead. The plating of the lower nails is attached to a deep red, and the angle of the self shield turns red. The tower is also a basic gold-colored advantage in every leg and the lighter hue of the wood on top.

Strategy for Archer Archery

Their ability to target land and Water Units makes Archer Towers a formidable defender. However, Archer Towers can only fix one unit of time. It is very helpful to overwhelm them with large groups of archers or barbarians.

When deploying some balloons, it is advisable to keep them away from Archer Tower, and make them easy targets. However, a balloon can enter in large numbers will quickly destroy Archer Tower just to get one or two Balloons.

After Archer Towers (and Air Defense) are out, Balloons will do to destroy the entire village (though the Towers Wizard and time can still be a problem). You can also place a group of archers (about 15-25) and then they do the work.

Things about Archer Tower COC

You do not need to train Archer to have Archer Tower, nor do you need to open Archer in your Barracks. Any upgrade to Archers you have completed in your Laboratory has no effect on any Archer Tower.

The Archer Tower is the first defense you open that can invade air forces.

The number of Archers over the tower is purely aesthetic. Archer Towers with three archers at the top has the same range and level of fire as a tower with only two archers on top.

The Archer Tower is one of two defenses that have troops on it, the other being the Tower Wizard.

When you upgrade Archer Tower there is Archers on it. The Archers above also disappears, while the tower is being moved.

When upgrading, the tower appears at the base of the war as a previous level, without Archer above, even though it is completely functional. (The same is true for the Towers Wizard.)

The Cannon and Archer Towers have 13 Upgrade levels, the highest of any building in the game.

Even though you can not upgrade Archers to level 5 until you upgrade your Laboratory to level 6 (which requires level 8 Town Hall), archers above level 8 Archer Tower (The max level for City Hall 7) resembles level 5 Archers .

At level 13 they do the second highest consistent damage of all defensive structures that can target ground and air forces, in addition to level 8 Hidden Tesla.

From the 2014 Winter update, Archer Towers COC shot twice as fast as before but still has the same damage per second. This will allow units that will potentially disintegrate faster.
